As week one of the build season comes to a close, we have accomplished several key objectives.

After extensive prototyping with old robots and new prototypes, we settled on a drive system that fits our key game objectives.  Our drive system will allow us to traverse the field using any of the methods which we have determined to be strategically advantageous.

Manufacturing began for the drivebase after much CAD work.  Manufacturing has been happening almost nonstop, as it will be running for the remainder of build season.

Several devices for ball manipulation were also prototyped.  They vary in effectiveness, size, complexity, weight and a myriad of other factors upon which our final decision on ball manipulators will be based.
