End of Week Two Progress PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 23 January 2010 23:15

During a very busy week two, prototyping and concept design continued for several key robot systems.

The ball manipulation systems continued to be refined to work better and more consistently.  Many videos of them working have been taken, and will be posted online eventually.

Design on a device to suspend the robot on the tower began.  Several conceptual designs were made, some of which will be eventually prototyped and built.  Several of these fit within our primary robot design objectives, but others would require slight modifications to said objectives.  We will weigh these options over the next few weeks as the design process continues.

Manufacturing has continued to run nonstop and parts have started to be sent out to various sponsors for machining and fabrication.
