254S History

Team 254S was formed in October 2009 with the intent of building an additional robot to compete at the Bellarmine Bay Area VEX Robotics Challenge. The first 254S robot was built in two weeks.

  • ~ 8 lbs, irregularly-sized (sized in diagonally)
  • 1 bumper sensor
  • 6-motor, 4-wheel drive train, top speed 4.8 fps
  • 2-motor, single-joint arm, 5:1 gearing
  • 1-motor intake, 4:1 gearing
